Our water-miscible
"dry" vitamin D comes in a small, easy to swallow capsule. Each capsule
provides 5000 IU of vitamin D as cholecalciferol (D3). Vitamin D
deficiency is widespread in morbid obesity, and is also frequently
found after bariatric surgery. It is one of the most common causes of
metabolic bone disease. This high-potency product can be used to
support healthy vitamin D levels before or after surgery. The
water-miscible powder is a good choice for patients with malabsorption
of fat, and the vitamin D3 form is more bioactive than D2 which is
